Society is obsessed with virginity, even fetishising it, and Lilly Singh has had enough.
The A Little Late host slammed the double standards that surround the concept of virginity, smacking down patriarchal ideas about women's virginity being "fragile and helpless," and the complete omission of people having any other type of sex than with the opposite sex.
"The whole idea of virginity is heteronormative," she said. "It's based on one type of sex: V and P. What about gay and lesbian and everything in between? There are folks who would be classified as virgins even though they're the LeBron James of having orgasms out here." Read more...
