Netflix has been diving headfirst into the comedy game lately, and on Monday the streamer announced its first-ever Netflix Is A Joke Fest in Los Angeles from April 27 to May 3.
Produced by Netflix and Live Nation, Netflix Is A Joke Fest will include a mix of live programming across five days and 20 venues such as The Largo, the Hollywood Bowl, and more. On the final night, Netflix will debut The Hall, a hall-of-fame style event honoring longtime standup legends like Robin Williams and Joan Rivers.
Though most of the festival is live, highlights will appear on Netlflix's social platforms (including SiriusXM) and at least 11 of the live shows will be recorded for Netflix streamingNetflix is also partnering with Comedy Gives Back to support the medical, financial, and mental health needs of struggling comedians.
